Will was quickly promoted after 4 games to Advanced Rookie ball. In 16 games out in Idaho, he is batting .419 with 5 doubles, 1 triple, 4 home runs, and 12 RBI. Also 2 stolen bases. Playing catcher out there. Only bad part is he's struck out 15 times in 62 AB's. But I'm sure that will come with adjustments.

He is one of the best...a very rare five-tool player, but kind of understated on TBR. He rarely gets a mention. How many 2009 or 2008 players from NC hauled down a $2 million signing bonus? I think just one, although I could have missed my guess easily (I'm at best, partially informed).

    Wil has been mentioned

many times on TBR. I will take those K's all day long as long as he is putting up that kind of average with those kind of power numbers. Wil is a great young man who comes from a wonderful family.

One of my son's college team mates told me that he played with Will for a summer season. His statement:

" Will is (by far) the "best player" he has ever played with."

This is by far the best compliment any player could get. From your peers.

Myers legitimately could play anywhere on the field.

However, I do think that his fastest route to the bigs would be behind the plate.

He is no slouch on the mound and as he fills out he will only improve his already impressive power.
