Foard lost to Newton Conover 64-14. I think you will see AC winning in similar fashion this week. Their defense is is playing like one of the better units in the state right now, and were starting to see some big plays come from the passing game. AC will be 6-0 going into their bye week, when they come back its very likely they will have Chapman back and Bradshaw should be back to 100% after recovering from his toe injury. This team has one of the best chances to run the table AC has had in a very long time.

Dont get to excited about a 42-0 win over Patton. From what I hear AC is a playing great ball right now but this is Patton's first year playing varsity football. I don't think Foard is that strong but AC cannot overlook them at all

42 is generous though..ac could have scored 84...we left a td in the redzone in the first half..an we didnt throw at all the 2nd half..itd be different if they had struggled against patton..an coach harper an the team captains arent goin let the team over look Foard..it just not goin happen..we got really good leaders on this team...although i hear steven burns isnt playing friday nite..(team rules) so that will affect the depth..but i dont expect ac to struggle they have the best front 7 ive seen in years....

after the bye we got hickory..that should be good..

I agree that 42 on that team is not running up the score. Like I said I have heard good things about AC. I think they have a chance and should make playoffs. Let me get this straight as long as they beat Watuaga and South they will get the number 1 seed for the 4A playoffs from that conf. is that correct?

    correction..

This is Patton's 2nd year of playing varsity football I believe. AC has a great team with a great coach who takes things as they are. He doesn't look ahead at what could be. He looks at what is at the moment. I'll have to say though Quentin Owens is probably the fastest running back AC may have faced this year. I say AC will win & it should be a great game.

As far as the stadium. Foard put up fences along the track and if you ask me from experience of playing @ AC a few years ago, when the team plays as well as they are right now, there isn't many stands and bleachers that will be enough room so I think honestly there will be plenty of standers on the visiting side Friday Night.

    You may be right

You may be right. Idk but to your point Patton hasnt really had time to get kids acclamated to the system and hasn't had a string of players come through the school for 4 years. So I agree although Patton is probably better than most schools that just get a brand new start, they aren't at the same level and are sort of at a disadvantage right now as far as getting started and trying to get kids on the same level as knowing their system as well as other kids have at the other area schools.
