The New CBC

    All I can say is WOW.

    If you guys haven't had a chance to see the new CBC facility you have got to check it out. More than double the size of the old facility, real field turf, a track, weight training area and even an scouting area behind the home plates in the bull pen.

    They are now offering speed and agility classes with Charlie Newman who has helped athletes from amateurs to the pros take time off their sprints through focus on mechanics of running. They also have Kurt Gouveia a 13 year NFL veteran with 2 superbowl rings doing the strength training.

    combine the new facility with MLB baseball instruction and the additions of Charlie and Kurt and I have a feeling they will be pumping some athletes out of that place.

    Thank you Robin, as I am not a very good coffeemaker, but I'm a pretty good coffee drinker. umm....err....can you pick up the doughnuts as well? 'specially the ones that are creme-filled.

    Wow !!

    What a facility ! Check this out...

    - Behind the indoor mounds is an elevated platform for scouts to sit and watch/clock pitchers with a good view
    - Batting tee stations with permanent netting
    - Lots of batting cages with watching areas
    - Huge indoor practice areas with artifical turf on the whole thing and nets that can be moved to separate teams and groups or opened up to have a practice area that only Nolan Ryan could long toss from end to end in...
    - Separate electronically timed track area that is over 70 yards long
    - And a full weightlifting area

    And I heard they are installing a baseball equipment store too...
