Northwestern 3A/4A

Sorry but you are wrong on that. I wouldnt say we have a strong conference, but to say its weak. That would be way WRONG the conference is 27-18 all together. Thats not to bad. Sure wouldn't call it weak!!!!!

 

Not to mention you currently have the #2 ranked 3A team in the state.

 

Thats great and I know that this new conference is stronger and weaker in certain sports but I would honestly have to say that baseball ws made the strongest when we went into this conference. But I cant wait til the spring to see what everyone has and anyone can say anything on here but Hickory will be tough to beat with 3 good arms on the mound..Not sure about their defense just because dont know that much about them other than pitching

refresh my memory. i know barnette and poole. who's the other arm for hky?

i know they had a big lefty on the JV team who was very good, but i've heard he may have had Tommy John (just rumor so don't quote me on that)

Poole who signed at Ole Miss
Barnette who I have heard signed with UNCA (Not sure if true just hear say)
The third is Branson Christopher the shortstop and pitcher. He just signed with wingate not to long ago

 

ok yeah i know all of them. i just didn't put Branson in the category of pitcher. he does a good job on the mound, but he's definitely known more at the plate.

and i knew about Poole and Ole Miss (think that's more of a basketball thing, though he's very solid on the mound as well) and i heard the Barnette to UNCA deal as well, but like you i haven't heard any confirmation.

all three very good players and reasons that hickory will be tough to deal with come spring time.

 

Yea I agree that he is known for the plate..They will be tough with those three on the mound
