    South Charlotte Panthers - 0
    Collegiate Athletics (Leesburg, GA)- 0

    South Charlotte plays again @ 4:30 against Black & Gold Baseball out of Fort Myers, FL.

    DB - Benton Moss (UNC)started, I don't know how long he threw or who relieved. Brett Austin hits go ahead HR in 6th.

    SC Panthers out hit Collegiate Baseball 7 to 1 but could not score a run in game 1 behind the excellant one hit shutout pitching (84 pitches) outing from 2011 WF-Rolesville righty Nick Silva. Hayden Hendry (2011 Clover) was 2-3 with a triple and Brett Lang (2011 Ardrey Kell) was 2-3.

    Black and Gold (FL) 5...............................5.......8.....1

    Winning Pitcher: Lou Trosch (2011 East Meck) 2.33IP; 1 H; 4 K.

    Leading Hitters: SCP - David Daniels (2011 East Meck) 2-3; 2RS; SB; RBI. Hayden Hendry 2-4; 2B; 2RBI. Michael Herbert (2012 Providence) 1-1; 3B; 2RBI. Blaine Lewis (2011 Mallard Creek) 1-1; 2B; RBI.

    The Panthers fell behind 0-2 then 5-3 before the bats heated up and won going away 9-5.

    Will play one game in pool play Saturday at 4:30p versus Houston Banditos. Starting pitcher: Jeffery Springs (2011 South Point)

    Looks like Canes South, South Charlotte Panthers, Dirtbags and I think the CBC Diamond Rats will make the playoffs. . Great job NC teams!

    Wow...sounds like David Daniels is having a great tourney! I hope he's opening eyes down there.

    Also, nice to see Lou Trosch have a good outing. The kid knows how to pitch.

    Good job Panthers...keep it up!

    I sense Brett Lang is going to have a monster game :hump:

    SCP goes up 5-0 but loses in extra innings 8-5. Canes knocked out as well. Good showing for NC
