Cabarrus Game of the Week

    Radio Free Cabarrus will broadcast the Albemarle at Mt. Pleasant game this week. Coverage begins with the Cabarrus Pigskin Preview at 11 a.m. and continues live at the stadium at 7 p.m.

    The Pigskin Preview will feature coaches interview from all Cabarrus high schools and the coaches for the game of the week. The show will also have the Carolina Eagles Report with Reece Harris talking about the Central Carolina Football League; a state report with Chris Hughes from Carolinapreps.com and other features.

    The preview is aired early so far who would like to listen can hear their coaches any time that afternoon before headed out to the games.

    Next week the game will be Lexington at Concord.

    Concord at Central Cabarrus

    Both teams have a double digit losing streak and one will end Friday night. Concord will be starting a new QB, freshman B.J. Beecher.     Northwest Cabarrus at Hickory Ridge

    This week's game of the week features Northwest Cabarrus, led by QB Jeremy Cannon, and Hickory Ridge, led by RB Brian Baltimore. Both teams are 3-0 in the South Piedmont and tied for first with A.L. Brown. John Voncannon and Coach Soupy Campbell will call this week's game. Pregame activities get under way with the Cabarrus Pigskin Preview with all the Cabarrus coaches. This week's show will be posted late Thursday afternoon.
