Not to take take anyone's side-However, I know for a fact thats it's been a cluster! The site director refuses to take phone calls or even answer emails. The coaches are finding out most of there second hand info from the ump's that's actually staying at the same motel...and the last I heard "THEY" NSA-was pushing for 2 games tomorrow and staying with the $300.00 tournament fee.
-Please someone tell me this is not true-
SOUNDS LIKE TO ME THAT A STATE DIRECTOR MIGHT WANT TO STEP IN!

I beg to differ with your facts, but my dd's team was there at 10:30am and they were told ONLY TODAY'S games were cancelled...no mention of the whole tournament. So now you have the facts!!!!!
And I agree with Hit-N-Run, this tournament has been a cluster! We weren't even informed, as I'm sure most teams weren't, told ANYTHING until after we made the 1 1/2 hr. drive to Rock Hill. Refund please.....:Asta1:

I AM NOT GOING TO ARGUE WITH YOU! WE WERE TOLD ONE THING AND YOU WERE TOLD ANOTHER, IT IS AS SIMPLE AS THAT!!! YOU EVEN AGREEDED WITH HIT-N-RUN THAT IT WAS A CLUSTER SO I'M SURE WHAT YOU HAVE POSTED WAS YOUR FACT AND WHAT I POSTED WAS OUR FACT. SO GOOD LUCK TO YOUR TEAM TOMORROW! We may not have even been at the same field, have you thought that, maybe that's why we have different facts.

    Not Cancelled

We already have our time for our first game in the morning......
Some of the 16's and 18's games are moved to Cherry Park.

We weren't informed of the cancellation until we were at Eagle either.
I don't think anyone was. So, we are all in the same boat.

And yes, this is definately a CLUSTER!!! But, it's not the first CLUSTER we have ever been through with this director, and I'm sure it WILL be our last.

Good luck in getting a refund! We have never received one before, for the SAME situations before.

Guys, it rained somewhat unexpectedly. They wouldn't let us on the fields. That said, I hope most of the 18's stay at Eagle. What few coaches are there probably would prefer not to go back and forth. I say we play all day as long as possible!

It's not the point of the rain(by the way they were calling for rain in advance/forecast) It's the lack of effort, support, and lack of communication towards the players, coaches and parents that now have spent their time and money(hotel rooms,etc..). There's several way's of approaching the means of dealing with this tournament and the way that the NSA's representive has done(and it's pretty apparent that they've done this before) is not acceptable...And as it goes for the parents and the players, caulk it up to a waste of money and time. Sorry for the negativity but as the saying goes"shame on them once-shame on me twice" .

The rain was not unexpected. They had been calling for it all week, and I know sometimes they are wrong or off, but at 6:30 am, it was raining in Rock Hill.
It was on the weather, and it was shown on the doppler, and it was said that it would be there until midday.
    To me, that's NOT unexpected.

Yes, this HAS happened before, at a very large, annual tournament was cancelled the very same way, by the very same director. NO REFUND. NO COMMUNICATION.

Yes, this time, shame on me. And it will NOT happen again.
