if ac finishes 10-0, which could happen, how would they determine who gets the overall 1 seed between ac, dudley, and rjr ? i know yall say it doesnt really matter but doesnt it matter a little since a 1 seed will play an easier team, especially in later rounds, than a 4 seed will ? would ac still play the same teams because of where they are geographically if they're the overall 1 seed ?

If I remember correctly a couple years ago Indy during their undefeated streak was actually a #1 seed, however had to go on the road in like the 3rd round of the playoffs. My point being that there is always some weird case or situtation that make you scratch your head as far as some teams play @ home while some hit the road to play. Isn't it still too early to be trying to 'fill in the brackets'?

oh dang - do't get me started on split conferences. I hate the way they seed teams from them for the playoffs.

For examaple - a seven team conference with 4 3A teams and 3 4A teams.

If you had 3A teams in first through third place and the highest 4A team finishes fourth then that 4A team gets a "first" place seed and a first round home game. I think it was Garinger (maybe Harding) that did that last year. They were like 3-7 or 4-6 but were considered a "first" place seed.

I can't 100 percent confirm this but I think the sorting of seeds is done by a drawing or coin flip by the NCHSAA?

This may be a stupid question as I don't understand all this, but--where is East Rowan? They're 7-1 right now and undefeated in conference play at the moment (until Friday night when East plays West). But they have clinched a playoff bid. Just wonderin'.
