    ALOT of history here. usually this game gets tons of attention in this part of the state, but Concord has not brought much to the table recently. still, Memeorial Stadium will be packed and the hitting will be a little crisper once the whistle blows. a victory for Concord would make their season. it would make their year...and for the seniors, life long braggin' rights about the night they knocked off highly ranked Ktown and painted up that bell again, with a big ol' Black Widow Spider on it.

    it aint gonna happen.

    The Wonders will beat the mud out of Concord again. Engine 31 will keep grinding out touchdowns, and the guys on Plumbers Perch will continue to heckle the Spiders faithful as they leave.

    A little bit of the luster is missing without EZ, but I suspect this may be a closer game then one expects.

    K-town is favored, no doubt about that, but this game is played with a lot of emotion. You just never know!

    Radio Free Cabarrus will broadcast this game. John Voncannon and Coach Soupy Campbell will call the action. Coverage begins with the Cabarrus Pigskin Preview, posted at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, right now looks like all the coaches will be included except Cox Mill (Coach there has stopped returning phone calls).
