1st round matchups

who do yall think the winners will be in the first round of the 4a west brackets ? no trash talking, lets just talk football

 

I honestly think AC will have a tough game with Porter Ridge. PR has won some big games with opponents ranked in the top 100. AC may struggle and may lose if they don't come to play.

 

i agree. i heard they were fast but i think theyre smaller than we are. our offense will have to control the clock and keep them off the field. i expect ac to win but they better bring their A game.

 

AC will be ready- in fact I'd venture to say that yall give AC Reynolds a run for their money and pull the upset.

 

Everyone needs to focus on the task at hand, beating Porter Ridge. Take it one game at a time, and worry about that opponent only. If everyone stays focused and doesnt dwell on last weeks loss AC will be fine.

 

Im going to say AC wins this week. QB Kyle Kinnard will return an AC will get back to business. The defense will feel embarrased and they will pick it up and make up for their 48 point preformace last week.

Kinnard throws for 100 yds rushes for round 40
Bradshaw gets 20 carries rushes for 125.
Defense forces 2 turnovers
AC wins 24-14.

 

How many time this year has Kinnard thrown for 100 yds? He is a good QB and I know you follow AC football so tell me this......Do you really think we will pass enough for him to get 100 yds? I doubt it....I think he will run for bout 75 and bradshaw will get over 100...Defense will play better due to the fact that I have HEARD that Porter Ridge has no rb's as fast as HHS. AC wins 28-14

Well not only does Porter Ridge not have any RBs as fast as Hibritens.. but I'd venture to say the only teams that could compete with RB speed wise would be the almightys from Charlotte.

That's not really saying a whole lot though really that the RBs aren't as fast as Hibritens.. Hibriten also has so many that it just seems like you don't have a chance to have them get tired. As soon as one is tired they throw in another 4.5 worm burner!

Who all did Porter Ridge play this year? I believe I saw their record was 7-4 or something like that? Records don't matter but it's basically who you play is what matters most.

 

I want to say that they are in a split conference as well but am not sure about it...I would just have to say that if it turns out to be a close game I think AC will come out with the W. I doubt we see another offense that was as big and as fast as HHS til we get a couple rounds in. Im guessing we only get one home playoff game now.

 

Yeah that kinda sucks with the way we got the 5 and Reynolds got the 4, but oh well. Only way we could be back here in 2nd round is East Gaston pull a big upset. I doubt that would take place though. Alexander isn't the only one that got screwed over by a questionable seeding. Ragsdale should have been ahead of Dudley but I guess that great S that Dudley has that committed to NC State had some pull haha. Oh well... the seedings are what they are. Important thing is for the teams to play the best they can and control what they can control!
