Thats not the bracket I saw.. was that the revised one or have i looked at one wrong.. I saw EB going to Salisbury and Newton Conover at 7 and possibly rematch with Bandys in 2nd round at Bandys.. jw which of us has looked at wrong one. The one I saw didn't involve West Stanly

 

The 2AA west region might be one of the tougest brackets in the playoffs this year. Who ever makes it through this bracket and represents the 2AA west will pay their dues. I feel the best 1st round match up may be East Burke and Salisbury. Both teams are well coached.

Alot of Match ups you could possibly be seeing are Shelby vs. East Burke, Shelby vs. Salisbury.

There may be a possible rematch between Newton-Conover and Bandys. IN the 3rd round you could be seeing East Lincoln against Bandys or Newton-Conover. Another team that I think could make some noise is Pisgah.

My feeling is it will be either Shelby,Newton-Conover, or Bandys making it to the state championship game to face Reidsville. I feel Shelby will win a state championship in the next 2 to 3 years considering all the young talent they have on their and Chris Norman is one of the best coaches in the state.

 

East Burke will have a tough match up in round one. I haven't been impressed with the way they have been playing the past few games. In all of their big games they have turned the ball over in the first 10 minutes of the game. The offense just isn't playing up to their potential right now but hopefully they can start playing with a little fire. Salisbury is gonna be tough, I don't know much about them but they have 7 wins and that is enough to scare me.

 

Salisbury has a record of 7-4.

I believe they are a mainly running team with alot of speed and size as well. The teams they lost to are South Rowan,West Rowan,Davie County, and Thomasville.

Most of their losses were really close. I think they lost to west rowan by a score of 14-10 or something close.


Where is the game at?? Ive been told Its at EB and Ive been told its at Salisbury.

 

At Salisbury. It's gonna take a full throttle EB to win. I know they are capable but the offense really struggles in big games. Can't turn the ball over against good teams and expect to win. Hopefully EB can limit the turnovers and move the ball effectively. I see that Salisbury's wins are about like EB's wins, they haven't beat anybody worth mentioning but, like you said, they kept the big games close. According to Fantastic50 they lost to West Rowan by a score of 14-7

 

2AA West

Heres the right bracket. Idk I didn't look at the preliminary bracket before they switched it but I guess that's what Nathan had.. here it is

Just looked and counted.. out of the 16 teams.. 5 of them came from the CVAC.. Maiden also made it in the smaller 2A bracket.. That makes 6 out of 32. Not bad!!

 

I'd say BANDYS, 'NOTHING BEATS A TROJAN'.
