    no comments?

I hate it when junk like this happens. It's about as bad as American Legion where some team that is successful in the playoffs suddenly has an ineligible player. Why does it always only come out once the playoffs have started. Or in this case just a couple days after brackets are set. As early as I'm sure this was reported this morning it seems like the NCHSAA could have replaced them with some other team that should have been in. I'm sure some team out there would like to play and I'm sure a team like Jack Britt would love to have their proper seed.

A judge ruled the player eligible...The NCHSAA is going to appeal this as they should. The game is on for tonight however.

Tell them to change their uniforms to green and yellow and have yellow helmets with a huge green I on the helmet and they will get a free pass all the way as long as they win.

They wouldn't be worthy. You have to win 1,2,3,4,5,6,7 STATE CHAMPIONSHIPS IN A ROW to have that honor.

Honestly, this has been the biggest dog and pony show I have ever seen in HS sports. The coach admits to having an ineligible player, then a judge (who is a grad of this high school) deems that the players constitutional rights were infringed upon because they weren't told why they were not able to play. Now Monday they go back to court to find out if they will be allowed to continue or not. Good lord, since when do lawyers and judges control what happens in high school sports? I thought that was why we had the NCHSAA?

When this goes to court on Monday, the NCHSAA will win. The school will be declared ineligible and be forced to forfeit their win as well and be forced to surrender the gate. What a travesty ? Great example for the kids to follow.
