Racquel Cooke Commits

Racquel Cooke of East Lincoln and the Lady Blues committed this weekend after a visit to Lafayette University a D-1 school with one of the finest academic reputations in the country. Coach Wallin saw Racquel in New Jersey and has been communicating with us since that event.
Racquel came to Blues this fall and has played multiple positions and has given us great base running and key hits in many of our games. She is also strong academically and is active in non-profit fund raising and assisting the poor and the disabled and has set up two companies to provide for these passions. What a wonderful accomplishment, we wish Racquel all the success in her academic pursuits as well as her collegiate softball career! She is a special young lady!

Wow! What a past few years it has been. Seems like yesterday we were playing for the Chicks and dreaming of this day. We have both worked so hard to get where we are now and I am so proud of you for your accomplishments! All of the endless sleepovers we had and kfc chicken bowls. haha. You are an amazing softball player and a great person and i can't wait to hear how you do in college. We best keep in touch even though your gonna be all the way in Penn.
