Foothills HEAT - Kinsey McClure

Congratulations Kinsey! Belmont Abbey is getting a heck of a ball player, good luck at college! I know pops is swelling with pride...lol.

 

First things first, thanks for all the support from TBR. Yes, her mom and I are extremely proud of Kins and her decision to play college ball at Belmont Abbey. A special thanks goes out to North Gaston Coach Abbey Norwood, Foothills Heat Coach Barry Latham and Belmont Abbey Coach Ellie Hanover, for Kinsey's success and future achievements. Some have said that travel ball is too expensive and time consuming. I am amazed when we drive for hours to somewhereville to a field in whoknowswhere and get out of the vehicle and see our kids hug and laugh with team mates and competitors. Our softball family has grown extensively over the years and no amount of money could ever replace the experiences we have enjoyed together. Oh, and if we forget something, (anything), someone is always there to supply our needs and vice versa. Kinsey, your mom and I love you very much and look forward seeing you play at the next level. Hard to imagine this all started in our front yard just five years ago...........

I just want you to know that I am so proud of you. I can still remember 12u when I was on the baseburners and you were on the dazzle and we were playing at rocky river for the championship and you hit the ball right under my glove at 2nd. and how my dad wanted you on his team so so bad. And then we played on the chicks together and got really really close. I miss mooing with you constantly and having "spendthenighttime." Hmm, theres like so much I could write youu. Tell your mom, dad, and little Austin that I said hey and that I miss themmm. I hope that we can get together soon, or at least before I go off to Penn. I wish you the absolute best of luck and hopefully we can somehow get to watch eachother play. We've accomplished our dreams Kins I'm so happy to have you as a friend. Remember if you ever ever ever need me, i'm just a text message away. And I'll always be able to hop on the next plane to be by your side. And I'll be sure to bring a kfc chicken bowl
