    Lander has scored another quality player and person. Congrats to Johnny Walker-North Lincoln-and his family from your freinds in Mooresville.

    This was announced on the 'Baseball" thread, but I'm sure he won't mind having two threads.

    Congrats to the young man. I remember watching him show out at the Belmont Abbey camp. The kid has talent

    Yeah, that was kinda strange the way that thread was titled. The thread is about the player not the game...glad you re-posted

    Congrats Johnny. Coached him for many years. One of my favorite players when he was not throwing the ball at me from centerfield.

    Congrats johnny. Mikal has played against this kid for a long time and he can play. Always has been a hard nose player who plays the kind of game you enjoy watching. Lander stole a player from North Carolina who will make them very happy. Great job Johnny, again it makes me proud to see someone that i know getting the chance to continue their education and play baseball.

    who is the coach at Lander now? Last I knew it was a guy straight out of 1977 with a mullet and a faded purple jacket. I don't know anything about the guy, but we never lost to them, thats all Im saying.

    I retract the previous statements... It was COKER I was remembering. Anybody know if that guy is still there. I was remembering the wrong school, team, and coach. My apologies to Lander!
