Sad News. NCTIGER

    South Caldwells biggest fan nctiger, Charlie Harris passed away suddenly Sunday night. Most here know him as the concession stand guy at the softball games. Charlie is a long time supporter of SC athletics especially girls sports. He was instrumental in obtaining finances for much of the softball field improvments and rarely missed a girls basketball or softball game he will be sorely missed.

    Our thoughts and prayers are with his family during this time. Charlie will be missed by our girls and the CV Storm family.

    I loved just sitting and listening and learning from that wonderful man! What a teacher, a fan, and an inspiration to so many young female athletes! Mr Charlie will be missed by all that had the pleasure of knowing him. Prayers and peace be with his family!

    he was such a nice man ! when i was coaching at achs , he was always the 1st to speak to me when we were over there. i got to know him away from the park and he would always be talking softball! i will miss seiing him and spending a few moments talking to him!

    I met Charlie last year at the South Caldwell Easter Softball Tournament. He helped me get set up on the field to take my photos, introduced me to everyone, and spent some time telling me about the girls on the South Caldwell team. He spoke of them like they were family and I'm sure to him they were. We even spent some time taking photos together of the tournament.

    While I had just met him I felt like I knew him forever. The softball community, South Caldwell especially, will miss softball's biggest fan.

    While I'm very sorry to hear of his passing I feel lucky to have spent some time with this fine man, even if it was just a day. NCTIGER you will be missed!!!
