Max Schrock to South Carolina

    Max Schrock ('12) of Cardinal Gibbons HS and the Cary Bulls has committed to play for Coach Ray Tanner at the University of South Carolina.

    Way to go bud!! Also a big congratulations to his folks.

    Max is the 3rd player from the 2009 Cary Bulls JR Legion team to accept a Division I scholarship joining Joe Pistacchio (Green Hope '10, App State) and Blair Betts (Athens Drive '10, Indiana).

    Have not heard this about Max - Has that been confirmed ? I heard Carolina was looking at him as well...

    Great News !! I have known Max for several years and have seen him grow as a player - He is a great kid with great parents... He just turned 15 and he can play with any Senior in the State.. Big talent as a 2012 - I have seen a lot of other 15 year olds and I have not seen anyone else that hits the ball like him.. Very cosistent, hits the center of the ball most of the time with good power... Can't wait to see him develop !!
