Justin Hammond- Hopewell High School

Justin Hammond @ Hopewell HS was selected as a 2010 Under Armour Pre-Season All American, but what I thought made this even more impressive was Justin being selected as a finalist for the Hot Stove Greater Charlotte Area Scholar Athlete of the Year.

This young man has established himself to be prepared for the next level, athletically and academically. Justin plays his summer ball with the Diamond Rats of CBC. Congratulations Justin on your achievements! I;m looking forward to watching you perform this year as a player...and as an Owl mascot

Baseball is hard enough but also performing at the top of your game in the classroom makes it even sweeter. Great job Justin on a tremendous accomplishment!!!!

 

I have known Justin since he was 11 and i am so proud of him. Great job and it couldn't have happen to a better kid. I know his mom and dad is proud. Luckily he got his looks and smarts from his mother. They are one of the best families you could ever meet. Congrats from:

Thank you for your kind words. It has been a pleasure getting to know you and your boys over the last several years. You've raised two very polite young men. We wish all of you much success in the years to come.

 

Congrats to Justin! I've not seen him play to date, but you can bet your bottom dollar I'll follow his progress this year and hopefully for many years to come.
Can somebody either PM me or post a schedule of Justins games in HS or TB where folks like the fishman can take in a game or two?
