The Camp will run from noon until 4pm.

Cost: $100.

Hey guys. Here are a couple of the many plans and topics for the January 18 (President's Day) Camp at On Deck:

-Mechanical checkpoints and How to repeat your delivery

-Video Analysis of each pitcher- In the middle of the clinic, we will pull each pitcher aside one at a time and record his delivery from 2 different views. After the clinic, each player will receive a report on his strengths, weaker areas and how he can improve short/long term.

-Focus on the Mental Game- This will cover everything from handling failure and setting goals, to pitch sequencing and reading hitter's stances.

- Functional Strength/Conditioning program- the guys will be shown and given a suggested program to lead them up to the start of the HS season. As well as a program for in-season and staying strong from start to start.

- Pitcher's Tool Kit- Each pitcher in the clinic will receive a 1" binder filled with images and descriptions of mechanics, game strategies, various functional lifts/conditioning routines, etc. This clinic is geared towards being packed with information, and from my experience, having a binder to store info and take notes on during the clinic is the best way to remember things.

I just want to take a second and thank the Hill Family, Ken Vining and all of the guys at On Deck who made it possible for the pitching event to take place this afternoon.

I had an absolute blast working with all of the guys, and they were locked in from start to finish. Thanks to On Deck for their commitment to Charlotte baseball. I'm looking forward to putting on another clinic with them in the future.
