Top 5 showcase teams in NC

I haven't read anything on the anglers lately, are they still a top team? I have read about most of these teams but never seen them play; sounds like I need to get to woodstock.

There may have been truer words posted on TBR tahn these, but not many.

 

Beating a given team on a given day does not make a program a "good program". It just means they were a better team that day. There are multiple measures of a good program and the best score well on most of those measurements

 

I can't find any information out about the Woodstock Midnight Bashbeing mentioned

 

The O's had the worst record in the AL last year........they beat the World Champs 5 times!

 

Define "TOP Prgogram"

I realize that winning a game is a nice reward for your efforts but I would have thought the main purpose of these showcase teams is to help their players find the right college so that they can continue to play baseball and pursue a degree.

Which programs have the best track record for placing players in colleges? Those are the ones that should be ranked.

 

If that's the criteria, then I'm pretty sure it's the Dirtbags...

Without a doubt, no other showcase organization in NC can compare with the Dirtbags organization.

 

Mustang, I am pretty sure it is an invitational ... and a portion of the proceeds now going to Haitian Relief

I don't know the numbers but I feel like the SC Panthers and the Canes have to be the next two. Then maybe the Cubs and O's would be the next two (in terms of sending players to college).
