    Alexander Central won their first NWC game since 2007 Tuesday night when they beat Hibriten. 4 wins so far this year which is a headline in Taylorsville. New coach Matt Taylor is doing a great job with the Lady Cougars.

    Very proud of them. They're working hard and will continue to get better. Coach Taylor is doing a great job. He's fiery, full of energy, and knows the game of basketball. I knew he would succeed but I didn't know they would have already improved this much. Keep it up girls.

    Im glad this team is winning. Especially with such a young team. I say "winning" trust me I know at any other school 4 wins in January is not that good but it is at AC for this program. Great Job

    "Fiery" indeed... After reports out of South Caldwell last week, their fans, coaches, & players might choose some different adjectives. Cursing on the court and going after opposing coaches after games - definitely doesn't sound like he's trying to earn respect in the conference with his coaching style. Best of luck to the AC girls, but the jury is still out on their "leader".

    everybody's a critic. I would almost bet there are two sides to this story. I know coach taylor well and he is not only a great coach but an ever better person.
