Would it be easier for you if a Hotel sales team did the legwork for you to hunt down rooms in markets you would be traveling to, vs someone having to do it.

Just give them your schedules and let them hunt the rooms in the cities you are going to at reasonable rates, High quality hotels.

if you are in the charlotte area, townplace suites at uncc. randi cashion is the contact person. best hotel in charlotte in my opinion. great staff, rooms that are 1 and 2 bedrooms with full kitchens. if you have a large group, great place to stay. my region 5 team and parents stayed there last june. the staff went above and beyond the call to give my group the best service around.

    That would be a no...

Just trying to get data to some of our sales folks that they should be out there contacting teams in their towns. Not sitting and waiting for what they can do for rooms in their towns when tournaments come in, but rather what they can do for teams when YOU travel away from home. Yeah, their local hotel doesn't win, but the overall company would and you would benefit from the time spent on huntimg rooms down is now freed up.

I'm in the Facilities side of the business, but in today's times we all are sales people.....

Too many sales people wait for business to come into them. I'm just turning it so they contact teams and see if they would possibly think it's a good idea.

    here is example

The Mighty Casey In Rock Hill in June. NSA Could call 4 or 5 hotel chains and say this is a big weekend in Rock Hill work a price tag/deal. This could already be done. But I don't think that a Holiday Inn Or Day's Inn is going to contact individual teams about staying in their hotel. Manpower and time???? Do these hotel chains have time to monitor all the SB web sites so as to offer discounts to individual teams???? I don't know.
