    Hey just wondering, am I reading the UNCG roster correctly, that they have 9 pitchers on the roster for the upcoming season? WOW, no complaints about getting some innings. Don't most schools have 15-16?

    that is interesting... also, only one freshman and only one lefty. Starters better go deep and relievers better be ready to pitch several innings and/or pitch on short rest.

    Considering most colleges have 6-9 pitchers go down during the year with various injuries (not all long term)...I'd say they are in deep doo doo

    Now you done already done it...

    With my eligibility all used up I find out that I should have saved some to head to UNCG.

    Cripes! I hope they have enough arms to make it through the season. They would have been hard pressed to utilize my Wakefield style fastball though...

    :N1Lol16:...I still have a year left and my corkscrew ball is unhittable. Tell the coach to put me on speed dial. I need absolutely no warmups.

    Great Campus at UNCG, an awesome stadium, in a pretty cool town. Just does not make sense?

    Great facilities,great town,great conference. I had a kid who played there, so it makes perfect sense to me!

    What happened to freshman Cody Poarch as a RHP. He's not on the current roster.

    Freshman in trouble

    I am hearing this 2nd hand - but from a reliable source - that several players failed a recent drug test and hence were made ineligible to play. Most of these were freshman and several were pitchers.

    We probably shouldn't dwell on this as it's an unfortunate situation for UNCG.
