    St Stephens

St Stephens went 3-1 on the day losing only to a good Butler team. We had 6 freshmen that got lots of playing time today. Coach actually started 5 of them against Butler. Anyway its been a good 2 weeks of scrimmages (6-1), I think St Stephens is ready to go. Good luck to all this year.

Mt Pleasant went 2-0-1,had 4 games scheduled but 1st game was stopped early agaist kings mtn due to poor field conditions,Km was up 2-0 at the time, one of KM players was hurt on sticky field conditions trying to get back to first base, hope all goes well with the player, hate to see this happen before the year starts.

    Pretty good day

After the sun warmed things up the field conditions improver greatly. I think the KM hosts did a good job of altering the schedule after finding one of four fields unplayable that morning. They rescheduled the games and kept everything on time. My Butler girls had a great day and played well against good competition. We played four games and were able to field a lot of different combination's on offense and defense.

It was my daughter that was hurt. She is doing good and should be back on Friday for our opening game. Strained ligament. Thanks for the concern.

    Pretty Good Scrimage

I really though there was a lot of good teams there. Not bad for just the little bit of practice each team had. Thanks goes out to the King Mountain Athletic Boosters and or parents that kept everyone fat and a sassy with all the good food and drinks....

I know it was all appreciated....thanks again!!!!
