Hopewell gets off to a 7-0 lead before a couple of hits and a error allows the mustangs to get back in the game.The pitching was great all evening for the Titans as Justin Hamond(2011) would get the win striking out 7 mustangs in 4 innings of work. Nelson Broyles would pitch 1 inning. Keith Prowse would take over to close the game while recording 5 K'S in the final 2 innings to get the save. Offense for the Titans would be provide by Joe Bertone with 2 HRS that included a 402ft shot to center. Hunter Conley (2011) would hit a shot over the top of the score board at jack sink field (estimated 450ft)WOW what a shot. Keith Prowse would then hit a double off the wall in left. Kyle Himler would also contribute with a single. The Titans will be in action again on Tuesday at 4:30 at Titans field vs Providence.Hopewell now 2-0.

Wild game at the Field of Dreams this afternoon. The Eagles took the lead in the bottom of the 6th after Adam Brady (3-3 on the day) drove in Lou Trosch from second following Trosch's 1 out double off of EM's cedarwood fence. Leighton Daniels was 2-3 on the day with a 3 run dinger in the first. Not to be outdone, his baby brother David Daniels also had 2 hits for East. Olen Little went 5 innings, giving up only 1 ER. For Mallard Creek Mikel Hill had 2 hits and Brandon Wilkerson led off the game with a solo HR for the Mavericks. Jonathan Crews closed the game for the Eagles, but not before the Mavericks loaded the bases. MC's suicide squeeze attempt went awry and the Eagles survived for a hard fought 1 run victory.
