East Rowan

East Rowan Completed it's road trip through Georgia with a 10-2 win over Heritage HS in Conyors. Heritage had a pre-season ranking of #9 in Georgia's 4A classification. With great starting pitching by Parker Gobbel and relief by Will Johnson and Preston Troutman, the Mustangs looked sharp. With wins over Alcovy (3-0) and Eastside (6-1), the trip through Georgia was a successful weekend. East Pitching staff of Gobbel, Johnson, Troutman, Thomas Allen (gm 1 winner) and Bradley Robbins (gm 2 winner) looked solid and in mid-season form. The offense started slow, but picked up the pace by the 2nd and 3rd game. Defense was solid. East will look forward to playing at home against W. Iredell on Tuesday and then playing rival Carson on Friday.
