    Parkland softball dad be Careful!

    ;) ...be careful about posting firsts on this board! tried to post positive recognition about a 1st perfect games from 43feet this year and not sure the info was received to well! ha! on that note, i think if a child accomplishes any feat on the field or off that is positive to this great game of fastpitch softball, let that light shine! this is a forum not a court! had a chance to speak to a group of little league children and parents this week (8-10 year olds ). the parents wanted to know what was the #1 thing the coaches needed to focus on to make their kids winners this season. I told them my opinion: fun! make sure they have fun! if they hit the ball and run the wrong way, so what? they are 10 years old. there will be enough pressure when they are teenagers. if they have fun at the beginning and middle of the process, they will have fun at the end. ...and they will give back! ...and this great game will perpetuate itself.

    Way to go Kailey!!

    Great job Kailey. Kailey is a member of Rodney Threatt's Lady Blues squad. Look for big things from this girl. Has a cannon for an arm as well.

    taylor jordan, junior catcher for hunter huss hit a three run homer yesterday bringing her total to three for the year. grand slam, three run homer and two run homer.....9 rbi's on three swings...keep it up kid, dawgfan is a watching....

    Freshman Bailey Bjorson of Metrolina Christian hit 1 home run against Northside Christian first game of the season!Also went 3 for 3 the next game!!
