Coaches for 2 new high schools in Johnston County?

    have HC's been named for Cleveland and Corinth-Holders High Schools, opening in Fall 2010?

    i have yet to see anything about the coaches but i did see some other info about the new schools.....

    2A Northern Conference, Corinth-Holders will be the Pirates, team colors are Purple and Gold.

    3A Cleveland will be the Rams, team colors are Columbia Blue and White

    same schools, etc / different era

    YES, interestingly both these schools have the same names, colors, & mascots as the former schools in the same general areas that consolidated into larger schools about 40 - 45 years ago!! nice deal.

    I know more about Cleveland (High) School; the previous school was located in a rural area between Clayton & Benson. It was a grade K-12 school that graduated it's last 12th grade class in 1969. I attended elementary school there. The new high school after '69 was South Johnston HS, between Benson & Four Oaks. For some in the Cleveland area, this was about a 13 - 17 mile drive or bus ride. Then West Johnston HS opened in the early 2000's, between the old Cleveland School and Benson.
    Now the new Cleveland HS will open 41 years later about 2 - 3 miles from the old Cleveland School.
