    Been a lot of talk the past couple years about dropping the 19's,,,,, but so far its only been talk.

    can someone help and list what ( if any ) posts have a junior team in the greater Concord/Kannapolis/North Charlotte area ?

    I agree Tools, I think 19's are here to stay. The talk I'm referring to is all the rumors you hear flying around the ballparks, its defintely a hot button issue, thats for sure.

    Personally, I think allowing all the college freshman one more year of eligibility did hurt the average HS player in getting a chance to play,,,,, but I also believe the 19 rule also was a major influence on why Junior Legion was started too,,,,,,, so if you look at it this way, it actually led to letting a whole different age group in the door.

    Either way, some think its a NC rule,,,,,,, and its not, its a national rule.

    Coach, I have a junior team out of Pittsboro that is nothing but 9 and 10th graders, all from the same school. We do this to try and improve our program, we get some butt whippings from time to time, (we had 4 8th graders starting most of the time) we also surprised some teams last year, the losses were tough but I think it made us stronger.     Cary has two Jr teams one made up of 16 and 17 yr olds that did not make the Sr. Team and one that is all 14, 15 16 that did not make the older Jr. team, For a contact call Don Daniels 919-800-8481.
