    I would...

have to believe that most of the moms are good looking. We're a bit further south than you. It ain't Texas, but it works. I think that Brave's could verify that. You know he's "watching" the ball games in South Western NC.

Providence wins 12-0. Game was tight early, but their hitters were too much for Concord's bullpen. Pitching dominated Concords hitters all night.

Anyone know if Myers Park is playing Porter Ridge at MP or at PR on Saturday? Also what time? And what about the JV game? Location and time?

    Thanks

That's a good description of the ball Chase hit. That wasn't a home run - it was a bomb! Not only over the 365' spot but in the parking lot behind the fence... like 400' I'm guessing and backside at that. And I don't even think he really hit it that well. Pitch was a little high and inside.

The best part is that he was totally classy about it. Trotted the base paths and high-fived his team mates and went about his business. I like watching him play.

    ball park sizes

What are the sizes of the parks you guys are seeing across the state? I'm seeing everything from 315 at the right field line at Charlotte Christian to the very deep 405 at center field at Myers Park. The shot noted above would be out of most parks, but the 365' line got me to thinking about it. At Myers Parks field, that might have been a long out.
