    John J Tuttle went 6 complete, allowing an unearned run on 5 hits and struck out seven. Coach Thompson made a couple of changes on defense and in the line-up and man could you see the effect. Top five in the order went 9-15, as the Wonders scored in every inning. Next game, hosting East Meck tomorrow @ 1:00.

    Hopewell 3 Lake Norman 5

    Another good game from both teams.
    Hunter May and Keith Prowse pitched for Hopewell

    Tyler Lewis started for LKN and got the win going 4 2/3 allowing 2 er on a 2 run homerun. then Scottie williams threw the final 2 1/3 collecting a save, allowing no base runners.

    LKN Hitting
    Ian Edminston had 2 hits
    Nick Keith had an rbi double
    Jack Edminston 1-2 2rbi
    Tyler Lewis and Taylor Thurber both added a base hit.

    Another player that had a very good night for Ardrey Kell was sophomore center fielder Preston Tiller.

    He went 1 for 2 at the plate with a nice line drive single, used his speed to steal second base and made an excellent shoe string catch to rob Holberton of a hit in center.

    Hopewell 3 Lake Norman 5

    Hopewell (3-2) dropped a hard fought game to Lake Norman 5-3. The Titans threatened several times but stranded 6 base runners.
    Hunter May (0-1) started for the Titans going 3 2/3 innings (5 runs, 4 earned, 5 hits, 4 strikeouts). Keith Prowse provided another strong performance in relief throwing 2 1/3 innings (0 runs, 1 hit, 3 strikeouts).
    The Titan offense was led by Daniel Whitecavage (2-4, HR, 2 RBI), Keith Prowse (1-2) and Keith Peterson (1-3, 3B).
    The Titans return to action Monday when they host Myers Park.

    If I'm not mistaken providence has 5 wins not 4. But it sounds like Austin is on fire!!!
