Great win for a young team. Showed alot of heart in last 2 innings down 3 to 1. Never gave up. Good pitchers duel! Cal Hardee look great for 6 innings. Struggle last 2.Travis Cook pitch complete game and went 2 for 3.Tyler Bumgarner had the game winning hit in the bottom of the 8th. South had a couple of costly errors to give up 2 runs.Played great defense when they had too.Cody Reid in center field had 2 ESPN catches.One to rob C. Hardee of a big hit late in game. Love to watch these 2 teams go at it!!

Robert McKinney pitched great through 5 innings. He made one mistake allowing a two run home run to David Martin. He probably had 10-12 strikeouts and had some serious pop on his fastball. Catcher for Foard hit a long home run in the first inning. Watauga rallied to score two runs in the bottom of the seventh to tie it and Max Linnville hit a walk off homerun to win it.

I have never posted on this board before but have been a follower for some time now. I have little time to attend games in my area so i find my self looking for scores on here every night before i go to bed. I was so excited when GrahamCracker started posting our local scores and stats. I thought this was great as i would now have to stay up for the 11 o'clock news looking for scores. If what it take is to start a new thread GrahamCracker for the MAC stats then please do so. You can be assured i will sign on every day to read what you have to say. There are some very talented ball players from this area and i just love reading about there success.
