Well, maybe Yogi would say something like "if we could get 90% of the kids out to the games, the other half will come." :jump:

I went to the AK games Friday and Saturday--- first time I have seen them all year--- and I was shocked to see so few students when I attended. When I asked about it, I was told they may come out for the Playoff games.

    Unbelievable!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I know the Providence students are stoked for this game. I can hear them tailgating tonight getting ready for it.

Danny doesn't give me free tickets anymore

I had the pleasure of playing in this rivalry, and let me tell you it doesn't get any more fun than this! The two coaches are the best around and always have their teams ready to play. The atmosphere is incredible and the players want this game more than anyone. This is bragging rights for the Charlotte area and the players love that. Some of my best memories from high school baseball have come from this rivalry. Good luck to both teams, but i must say that my PROVIDENCE PANTHERS will take the cake on this one:evilgrin:

    Great Game - Great Atmosphere

Always draws a big crowd and the game is always good - throw out the records (although both teams are playing well) - this is always fun.

High school baseball at its very best.

Should be a great game, but everyone at SM (lets not forget who is tied for the SW4A lead at present) is rooting for Providence! Gee, I wonder why!

    say it ain't so

Now I understand this game can shake up the league standings, but it hurts to hear a SM fan say they are pulling for providence. I understand a providence win put's South ahead of AK but you still get to play Kell at home yet and I just can't stand the thought of pulling for Providence...

I know where you are coming from, BUT, how long has it been since South Meck has had bragging rights when it comes to baseball??? YEARS!!!! So with that being said, I am rooting for Providence tonight! By the way, this will be the first time EVER that I have rooted for them. It does actually hurt some. But we have to beat East Meck tonight to make it worth while!
