2nd Annual Battle of the Border All Star Showcase and Games are set

It's back and better than ever! The 2nd Annual Battle of The Border All Star Showcase and Games are set to return in June. We had a great debut last year at Winthrop and we took the time to listen to all ideas to make the event even bigger and better.

This year, we move from 4 to 7 games, including two games each for the top 2011 and 2012 classes. The best of the best from Mecklenburg and its surrounding counties will tee is up versus the best players from the Upper South Carolina area!

The schedule

Sunday June 13: Class of 2010 All Star Game and Skills Competition

Monday June 14: Talent Showcase Workout for members of the 2010, 2011, 2012 and 2013 classes at Belmont Abbey! A large group of college coaches and pro scouts will be on hand to evaluate all of the top talent from the region, enroll now to secure your place in the event


Monday June 14: Classes of 2011 and 2012 square off with game 1 of a 2 game series for each class

Tuesday June 15: Game 2 for the 2011 and 2012 teams

Wednesday June 16: The 2013 and Middle School All Star Games will be held



Nominations may now be made for each team, if you don't nominate, you run the high risk of not being considered to play. And with over 50 college coaches on hand last year, you don't want to miss your opportunity. Anyone may nominate a player, Mom, Dad, Coach, Friend

60 nominations in the first 24 hours,,, that's exciting for us to see. I knew last year at 3pm when 30-40 college coaches were standing at the gate, before we even opened the doors for the Future Stars Game that we had found a really good event.

It's going to be really tough this year to pick from so many incredible players!
