4 Titan pitchers combined for the win. Hunter May (1-1) got the start (1 IP, 0H, 0R, 1K) then gave the ball to Blake Dueitt (2 IP, 3H, 5R, 4ER, 3K). Justin Hammond (2-1) got the win (2 IP, 1H, 3K) and Keith Prowse closed the game (2 IP, 1H, 3K).

Weddington Vs Charlotte Christian

Colby Spivey pitched a great game against CC last night getting the win for Weddington. The defense went back to its old steady self giving up only 3 runs to a very powerful lineup. Jeremy Schellhorn comes in the 7th facing the top of the order and gets the save.
Weddington wins 4-3. Weddington is now 8-4 going into the East Meck Easter Tournament next week.

NJ wins with a run in the bottom of the 7th inning. It was a hard fought and well played game by both teams.

Yeah...this score may suprise some people but I think McDowell has shook off early injuries and a lack of offense and is now starting to play the baseball that many expected going into the season.

Eli Miller tossed a 6-hit complete game shutout. Miller, along with Tre Young, Tyler Hopkins and Colby Brown each hit homers for the Titans.

 

Northwest 3 Hickory Ridge 8

Hickory Ridge out hits the Trojans in this one. Starting pitcher for Hickory Ridge threw a heck of a game even though he gave up lead off HR and another one later in the game. Northwest plays West Rowan tomorrow afternoon at 4pm (Fieldcrest Cannon Stadium) and then East Rowan Saturday, also at 4pm

 

East Meck 9 South Meck 1

East Meck flat out played the Sabres of South Meck tonight beating them
9 to 1 at Sabre Field.

Olen Little (Wingate) keep the Sabres offense off balance all night long while going the distance for the win.

The Sabres record in the SW4A is now at 4 - 2. With Providence beating AK tonight, we now have three teams tied for the top spot in the conference.
