It appears to be a strike at the knees. However, it is what the umpire called it.

There are no perfect players, coaches, umpires, parents, fans, rules, equipment, facilities, days, etc. Let that be known in the beginning and we will all have a lot less to worry about; and much more to enjoy.

    Just sayin'.

I'm confused and this time its not my fault. What part of this pic does not look like a strike?

Can't tell for sure on left or right but it is at least a ball and a half high enough for a strike. I'm saying it was a strike

Appears to me that batter was attempting to bunt, but is pulling the bat back as the ball is about to hit her back leg. Looks like it could be a ball inside to me. Not a bad idea with thirdbaseman having 1 foot in the outfield.

for those who dont know who this is, its junior catcher taylor jordan from hunter huss. everyone was back up because this kid hits rockets. she can bunt, but i dont think this was one of those situations.

camera angles are tricky, but this one was below her knees and dropping fast and called a strike (according to another player on the team)

when taylor hits the ball, baseball base-path distance would be about the right depth.

and yes, it was called a strike. strike 3, out 3 top of 6.

    Protect the plate

....hhhmmm, why are her hands apart on the bat if she was in a hitting/non bunting count?

I've read that the pitch was considered low by a player. Looks to me like the perfect pitch to throw to a strong hitter....one that makes her look like she's bunting on a third strike. ha ha....

pics are deceiving, but strategy is not, ....I'd throw low to her too.
