Impact Polls

Criteria??

Does anybody know what the criteria is for this poll? I know there are some very baseball savy folks on this board, but without seeing the teams how do you know who's stands where? Where did the stats come from to support the poll?

 

There are 25 coaches across the state that are asked to submit their votes, including one time TBR. The problem Impact had/has is that many coaches including us, would not take the time to submit timely votes. It drives Andy crazy because he tries very hard to get it right. It's impossible to do, but Impact overall does a very good job with it. But always keep in mind that polls are for topic discussions and mean very little. They are great to have and can be a lot of fun to discuss, but just in all polls the only one that matters is the last one after winning the State Championship and that can be any team.

What should be a great poll...Max preps...isn't because of the lack of participation. Here you'd have a poll driven by numbers, not assumptions. I wish the coaches would assign someone to update this for their team. If so, real big if....we would have a pretty accurate picture of what's what in NC high school baseball.
