    Oh Well

My son's very favorite (top 3) restaurants on the Showcase trail are:

    1. Wendy's
    2. Wendy's
    3 Wendy's

One hotel in Cary has a Wendy's on the opposite end of the parking lot. When he gets the "hankerin'" for a burger he can walk over there.

When at an ASU showcase head over to Blowing Rock and try either Woodlands or Canyons. Try the BBQ at Woodlands. Try the view and a couple cold ones at Canyons. Canyons has the best mountain view this side of the Mississippi.

Wow, maybe we should take our Legion program on the Showcase tour, we usually have to have the bus driver stop at the closest MacDonalds so we can order off the dollar menu.:dizzy2:

Excellent choices! I'll add Mary's Kitchen in Boone for home cooked meals....no beer, but the food is great!...and the locals don't want you to know.
