....just to clarify for our TBR newbies.......KW is Kendall Waugh, she's a cool kid who looked cancer in the face and said " I'm gonna whip your as*".
She can charm the socks off your feet.
Wonderful kid and great attitude ....

...OK now that you know her, she's in a game in RF and due to her radiation or chemo or both she lost her hair. She wore a bandanna on her head and this pure idiot, chest pumping, control freak umpire made his power clear by telling Kendall that her "attire" was illegal.

Instead of argueing, she threw it off her head and played ball.

    Now thats class!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    1. While behind the mound but in the circle, ump told 12U pitcher she was rolling the ball around in her pitching hand too much prior to stepping on the rubber.

    2. After getting hit twice in the top of the foot, ump tells coach he needs to play a pitcher who can get the ball to the mitt.

    3. Sharply hit ball to deep SS. Runner on 2nd going to 3rd Runner crosses in front of ground ball and is called out for interference. She did not run out of the base line and was not hit by the ball. Ump explained that she interferred with the line of sight of the SS. (She was just running to 3rd, definitely not intentional).

    big catcher

    Quote....
1... ump said the catcher was so big she could not see past her to make the call. Catcher was 6"1" ump about 5"4'. looked like Mutt and Jeff standing there.

2... This was in 10U yrs ago. ump said "Hey coach you need to put in new catcher I'm getting tired of doing all the work. They are not paying me to ump and catch both"

Had an umpire that has had threads about him on here before tell our coach that we had hurry the game up because of darkness, our coach said we will turn on the lights, the ump said that we cant use the lights because not every school has them and its not fair. Luckily our AD was there and called his boss to straiten out the cituation.

Most of these are hilarious, some are pitiful. After many years umping, I'm SOOOOO glad none of these were said by me. LOL I probably said some dumb stuff but, are you kidding me??!!! I did have a coach get VERY frustrated with me one time when, with a runner on first, a ground ball to SS, short threw the ball to the first baseman, runner never left the bag. First baseman stepped on first then tagged the runner. Coach wanted a double play. I told him 'when the 1B stepped on the bag, it removed the force on the runner'. He ended up telling me that I needed to watch more games on TV so I could learn the rules. LOL

Wouldn't it have been a double play if she touched the bag and then tagged the runner? Yeah the force was off, but the force is tagging the bag & you said she tagged the runner.

The runner never left the bag. If he had tagged the runner first, then stepped on the bag, DP.

During a Park and Wreck game several years ago, the ref (an ASA ref) told me because my pitcher was much better than the other teams pitcher, that he had to adjust the strike zone to make it fair.
