Region 3 State Game team

Players notified yesterday. University of South Carolina recruit Cameron Capel of Kerr Vance Academy 2011 did not make the team. Must be the favorite to win if this talent has been left out. catcher/outfielder with 14 Home runs this season. Had 2 Home runs on monday with NC State, App St and ECU in attendance to watch pitcher. Left handed hitter that may never make it past the 2011 draft. I wonder how many other Division 1 recruits did not make there teams.

 

Been there as far as the state games politics, but cameron could be attending the Perfect Game nationals in St. Petersburg which is going on the same time as the state games. If he isn't going to the nationals and he didn't make his region state team, then i agree that must be one damn good region this year if he can't make the team.

Region 3 state Games

No he tried out last Saturday at Wilson Hunt for the team. He was unable to attend the first tryout due to a game. He will be playing for the Canes again this summer where he won a ring on there National Championship team last year. You need to see this kids ability.

i HAVE SEEN HIM PLAY MANY TIMES,,GOT A ALOT OF TOOLS ,BUT I LIKE THE SHORTSTOP AND PITCHER FROM KERR VANCE BETTER ,,A BIG BAT 15 HRS AND A 90 MILE AN HOUR FAST BALL,,,I THINK HIS NAME IS TYLER BUT NOT SURE.

90 mph fastball... and you don't know his name. If he is 90 mph fb, am thinking everyone would know his name...

 

If Bolton nor Capel are on that team, 1, wtf was someone thinking, and 2) they should cancel the games because Region 3 will be too strong

 

Must be State Games time....Boy, feathers sure get ruffled this time of year and in some cases they should, but its the same every year, some make the teams that should not and some get left off that should play. Just the beginning of bad shakes in life, don't let it drag you down, if it is meant for you to play at the next level, just keep working and it will happen. Lots of kids playing at next level that didn't make a state games team.
