Both facilities have 13u teams, and the stealth organization i believe still works out at cbc. I know Jason and Jeff could hook a player up with good training teams that are younger.

Both of these fine groups have young teams. My sons team made up of rec league LL players goes up against them at each tournament. I know that OD has had 10U teams in the past. Currently CBC has 3 -12U teams alone.

Not sure of the arrangement, but these kids have all the "stuff" with logos from both facilities. Their uniforms say On Deck and CBC.

UGH, just got home from a disgusting game. We lead 6-4 after two innings. Hitting great, pitcher throwing strikes. We look like the better team about to win the second in a row. So after we go down quietly in the top of the third, we proceed to just lay down and give up in the bottom. Eight runs before an out is made. One ball left the infield (off a bat). Several left the infield after being launched out there on poor throws. Two routine plays at second butchered. Two throws to first on bunts that ended up in the right field corner. OK, nine and ten year olds make errors, I get that. But they should at least acknowledge that they made them. My kids acted exactly the same as when we were leading the game. I said not a word during the meltdown but said many strong words after the game. Most of the kids just stared off into space as if I wasn't even there. If they don't care, if its OK if we play crappy baseball, there is very little I can do to help them.

I understand your frustration. I was asked to help coach a very talented group of 9 year olds in a local rec league. They perked up a little because they knew I was a school coach but they still shuffle around like they just don't care sometimes, come walking up in flip flops, lolly gagging around, eating chili dogs right before the game, etc. They don't know how good they could be if they could just focus 100% that 1 1/2-2 hours at game time. They are a much differnt group than my 15 year olds who hustle every where and give every throw, swing, etc. 100%. I just don't get it. All I want is this group to want to be there. And don't even get me started with the crying if they make an out.
