Foothills HEAT - Ashley Rhyne

Foothills HEAT & West Lincoln (2010) pitcher, Ashley Rhyne, has verballed to Coach Larry Sauceman, Coach Richard Howlett, and the Walters State Lady Pioneers. Ashley has been doing pretty well at the pitching gig for quite sometime, and has amassed close to 900 strikeouts in her high school career. I've also seen her beat some pretty good travel teams along the way. We have been searching for the right situation and opportunity for Ashley, and we believe this is the perfect fit. Congrats Ash, we hope you have a wonderful career, and a good start to your nursing occupation!

Lots and lots of work goes into this kind of decision and announcement. You've put in the effort (and ol' Dad has took the beatin, know he's proud) and I am very...very...proud of what you have accomplished!!

BTW......Barry can sing the well deserved pitching praise, but I got to brag about the the bat. Like to watch the gappers!!!! I always expect a dbl when you come to the plate!!

Congratulations Ashley! I knew all that hard work would pay off. It's been an amazing ride for us, getting to watch the progression you've made through the years playing ball with "LB" during optimist, school, and travel ball. I know Dean, Tamara, and little sis are all proud of you, and so are we. I have to agree with ERMS, the batting cage that "daddy dear" put in the back yard didn't go to waste. Good luck at college, we know you'll do well......And, oh yea,,,,,nice job again Barry in fine tuning and polishing another one of your HEAT players all the way to the next level!!!
