....nice post EastPal. RT has a history of having bigtime catchers in his stable. One obviously is Landon Powell, who is a Marlinfan favorite, and also his asst. coach Jim Toman, oooops spell check, was one awesome NCSU catcher and I beleive he is now the head coach elsewhere. Help me out here East, I know Derek was at Wagner for basketball but I can't place Tomans college. His team played at NCSU this season. Anyway, RT is a class act and SJHS was happy to have him as well as MANY other excellent athletes over the years.......and a couple of pretty cheerleaders as well! OK, my bad, but its not slander if its true, and those nice ladies were pretty.

    just thinking years ahead

You bring up Jim Toman, has a great reputation on the college ball scene..........................thinking he may end up again in undetermined future years at USC OR NCSU as head coach. what 'cha think?
however at USC I'd say that Chad Holbrook may have something to say about that.

    big series

USC sweeps at Ark. & so does Fla. vs. Ga.

USC & Fla. both 20-7 tied for 1st in east div.

Gators at Gamecocks next weekend. That place will be packed & roaring. Probably 10,000 in attendance.
