Is there a high school traveling rule that requires a traveling team to play....

the game and then are also required to be back in their hometown by 12:00pm that night?

The reason I am asking is that the Wilson Fike at South Brunswick game is presently scheduled for 7:00pm tomorrow night and the trip is approximately 3 hours. The game last week against W. Carteret was a 2 hour trip and the game was moved up to 6:00pm.

According to the NCHSAA, a baseball playoff game can be moved from the required 7:00pm start to 6:00pm if both teams agree.

That's a very valid point, our kids had to travel to Statesville on a Thursday night and didn't get back home until almost midnight. It turned out to be a 15 hour day, not to mention they had another game the following day. Very good point!

Pirates, I think there's a new NCHSAA rule that states that all freshmen have to be in bed by 10:00 PM. Seniors can stay up all night. (this is to prepare them for college life). :snore:

This isn't going to cause you any problems is it?:yawnee:
