When are they going to post players ??

 

From my understanding only 8 players showed up for the tryout

Yes.

 

That was the first tryout I believe. Some players had other commitments. Not sure when the next tryout is but I believe the playoffs are playing a part in the scheduling.

Daughter's decision not to participate was a direct reflection of her experiences from playing in the State Games the last two years. Good luck to those that make the team.

Hmmm, that is hard to believe. You could have knocked me over with a feather.

 

I have heard similar comments from many potential players, that would make excellent additions, and their parents:

* Not playing because of whom is coaching the senior team this year
* Not playing because of bad experiences from last year
* Not playing because of whom is coaching individual region teams this year
* Can't be bothered to even try out because selection is often based on personal bias and numerous players have already been decided on prior to try outs ever starting

State games is just like choosing your TB team or what college you want to play for - you know what you want and what you don't. If you don't like something being presented, you have the choice of not being involved.

Many girls already deal with things they do not have a choice about in school ball, and don't want to extend their season unless what is being presented is favorable in their eyes.

Go figure LOL
