To me she is one of the best hitters in the state:

Only leadoff batter that I know that has hit 12 Hr's in one season with over a .510 batting average. Has hit some of the best pitchers in the state hard as they can be hit. Has been part of a team that has won 5 State Titles in Travel Ball.....2002,2004 USSSA / NSA State Champions, 2006 WFC State by beating a very talented Diamond Fever Team in Raleigh, and also won the 2006 WFC World by beating a very talented N.C. Challengers Team in Myrtle Beach.. She has signed with D1 Gardner Webb as a utility player, because of her versatility on defense. She will finish up her summer with the dynamic Curve Team who should be very competitive this summer...Good Luck Rebekah you are one of the best !!

RR is 2 years younger than my oldest DD and I promise ya'll that based on how Becca stood up to the older girls in TB she rocks.
She plays a mean defense at 3B or for that matter, just about anywhere and she wields a big bat. Time will tell as she goes to the next level just how much of an impact player she will be, but if I were a betting man, I'd have my money on the kid who has proven that she can play!

I'm proud of her for sure, and I think that she's a dog gone cool kid too!

    Props to ya sug!

you know I dont think BR will mind me posting this so I will for the benefit of all the kids who are on their journey up the ladder.

Bek played on that great Lady Blues 14U/16U team that went on to win the state championship with many different sanctioning organizations. She was always a great glove wherever you put her but at the time though she was struggling a bit at the plate. I recall Dad would be early at practice working tirelessly with her and he and I would talk hitting. Moral is everybody will go through peaks and valleys in this journey... always believe in yourself!

This is just an example of working hard, never letting loose of the dream and having a parent who always believed.

Best of luck in college Beck!
