    It's funny. You're not surprised by the players drafted, but you are surprised by some of the one's that weren't...and I understand about signability being a major issue.

    Dustin Harrington (Alexander Central & ECU) drafted by the Cubs, I think in the 35th round. Good ball player from a good family. Congrats to Dustin, Roger, and Tam.

    Packy Elkins, SS from Bemont TN was selected in the 37th round by the Cardinals. Congratulations to Brad and Mary - we are all proud of your son.

    Tim Smalling, SS from VA Tech was selected in the 14th round by the Giants. I still remember Tim's walk off HR vs Cary in the state playoffs. Congratulations.
