    no cigars for UVa.

The Cavs laid an egg, losing 11-0 to Okla.

Here's the last 8 standing and headed to Omaha:
    South Carolina
    Clemson
    FSU
    Texas Christian U.
    Arizona State
    Okla.
    Florida
    UCLA

Spread out over 5 conferences: 2 from the SEC, 2 from the ACC, 2 from the Pac-10, 1 from Big Twelve, 1 from the Mountain West.

And the State of SC claims 2 teams.

(By the way, earlier I stated that UNC was put in a weak regional.........well maybe not so much seeing that the Sooners are in the CWS; that team looks to have some pretty fair pitching).

Should be fun once again; the last CWS at Rosenblatt Stadium.

Clemson defeats the # 1 seed in the Playoffs

The Tigers win 6-3 and will play Okla next.
USC will play ASU in an elimination game.

    I'm really surprised so far:

Florida gone & Arizona State could be next. Also, the SEC could be eliminated as well.
