The STATE GAMES At UNC-Charlotte and Hopewell Start Monday (6/21)

I am excited about photographing the State Games at UNC-Charlotte again this year. These photos are the young ladies and their families that are playing in the games. They are free, thanks to the North Carolina Softball Coaches Association, again this year.

I wanted to post the schedule for the four days but my computer won't keep my connection to the link. Would someone please post the schedule to this thread.

UNCC has added new stands behind home plate and in right field so the game will be a lot more comfortable to watch then in the past.

These games will have most of the premier high school players in North Carolina and worth taking a little time out to see and support the girls.

It's a fun time and I hope to see you there.

I'll Try My Best

I'll try my best to get the best images for all of the Districts, one thru eight, and the seniors.

I know that I've said it before but this is some really great softball being played and to see the best talent from the entire state Of North Carolina, you just can't beat it. I will try to capture that talent with my photos and to be honest the girls make my job a little easier because of how good they are.

NEED VOLUNTEERS (Hopewell HS and UNC-Charlotte)

Hello everyone!!

As you may or may not know, our district is hosting the State Games this week (Mon. 6/21 - Thurs. 6/24). I have been trying my hardest to solicit volunteers for covering various shifts so that I am not the only one working 8 - 12 hours a day in the sun. I have about 10 shifts I still need coverage for. I am including the entire shift schedule below. Obviously, if I can't get the times covered, I will be there to fill in, but it will really help me if you are able to fill in any of the slots, or find someone who can (parents/players/etc.). Please please please let me know as soon as possible if you can help out. I can also sign off on service hours for any students (high school OR college) who may need them (sometimes this is motivational!). Thank you all SO MUCH!

There are alot of good athletes at these games, but take notice of #13, centerfielder from District 3. Heather Howard is a superstar in the makings. She is a freshman who plays travel ball for the 16u NC Challengers and she is playing an awesome tournament.
