    Kannapolis handed South Rowan(6-1, 11-2) first league loss by a 10-6 score. South at home next three nights then on the road Monday.

    That noise you hear in a distant, is the Rowan County Legion steam engine getting cranked up to go on a serious roll. They have won 6 straight now and are finally at full squad and starting to come together as a team.

    Moors topped Kannapolis tonight 10-2. Improved to 10-2 in league.

    SR 15-5 over Lexington to run their league record to 7-1.

    Rowan County beat up on Concord 22-8. Now 7-4 in league.

    Moors down 8-1 at one point and down by 2 in the bottom of the 9th come back to win.
